Properties
- Fast liquid seal for sealing conical and cylindrical synthetic threaded connections.
- Suitable for cold and warm water and (compressed) air and for, e.g., PVC, CPVC and ABS eventually in combination with copper, brass, (galvanized) steel and stainless steel.
- Pressure resistance (20°C) 8 bar.
Application
For sealing conical and cylindrical metal and synthetic threaded connections (synthetics/synthetics and synthetics/metal). Ensures leak-proof threads on inlet and outlet ports of pool pumps and provides secure, pressure-resistant sealing for threaded air release valves and pressure gauges. Seals threaded parts of hydraulic or pneumatic pool cover systems. Suitable for cold and warm water and (compressed) air. Suitable for, e.g., PVC, CPVC and ABS eventually in combination with copper, brass, (galvanised) steel and stainless steel.
Handling
Before use
Do not use in temperatures ≤ +5°C.
Clean and dry surfaces with a degreaser (Griffon PE Cleaner) and use a clean, well-absorbing, fluff-free cloth (Griffon Cleaner Cloth).
During use
Apply evenly to the male part and the female part. Assemble joint immediately and remove residues. Joint is adjustable for about 5 minutes. Joint can be loaded up to 8 bar (medium 20°C) or 2 bar (medium 80°C). After curing lightly demountable.
Do not use in gas, hydrocarbon or aggressive chemical installations.
After use
Best Before Date (MM/YY): see packaging. Close packaging properly after use and store in a dry location between +5°C and +25°C.
