Acrylic Sealant A-100
High-quality, universal acrylic sealant
Suitable for sealing seams, joints and gaps in, e.g., partitions, walls, ceilings, window frames, window sills, stairs and skirting boards. Bonds, among other things, to plasterwork, drywall, (cellular) concrete, bricks, masonry, wood, glass, metal and synthetics.
Not suitable for bitumen, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE and silicone.
Only apply at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust, rust and grease.
For a better adhesion on porous (highly porous) substrates, they should be first covered with a diluted acrylic solution (1 part sealant to 2 parts water). For a good result, cover the joint’s edges with masking tape. Ensure a minimum joint width of 6 mm. Up to a joint width of 12 mm, ensure a joint depth of 6 mm. In case of wider joint widths, the joint depth should be half the joint width. Remove masking tape immediately after tooling.
Sealant gun, Sealant smoother
Content suitable for approx. 8 to 15 m (depending on the diameter of the joint).
Cut off the nipple at the screw thread, assemble nozzle and cut at an angle to the desired joint width.
Apply sealant evenly up to the bottom of the joint and then smooth within 5 minutes using a wet finger, putty knife or sealant smoother. Close the cartridge properly immediately after use.
Remove wet stains immediately with water. Cured sealant residue can only be removed mechanically.
Store in well-sealed packaging in a cool, dry and frost free place.
