GRIFFON HBS-200® TAPE: INSTANTLY WATER AND AIRTIGHT

Griffon expands the HBS-200^® range with an innovative tape. 

Griffon's well-known HBS-200 range has been expanded with a new, very versatile product HBS-200^®  Tape. This universal, permanently elastic tape is immediately water and airtight. Partly due to this, it is perfect for (emergency) repairs. Combined with HBS-200^® Liquid Rubber, the tape is also ideal for large seam, gap and tear bridging applications. Furthermore, it simplifies the process of building up layer thickness.

Ideal for repairs
This black HBS-200® Tape has a particularly high, lasting elasticity of 400%. As a result, it can absorb vibrations and the possible effects of substrates well. In addition, the tape has a very high, direct adhesive strength. Therefore, it adheres excellently to almost all materials, such as wood, stone, concrete, zinc, metal, bitumen, EPDM, PVC, PP and PE. The HBS-200® Tape adheres even to damp surfaces, making it ideal for (emergency) repairs. The tape is immediately watertight, so there's no need to wait.

Sustainable solution
Because the tape has a large seam, gap and tear bridging capacity, it can be used with HBS-200^® Liquid Rubber. Covering HBS-200 Tape with HBS-200^® creates a permanent, durable solution. This is important if a repair is exposed to (extreme) weather conditions for a longer period of time. In addition, the tape is no less than 1 mm thick, making it easy to achieve the desired layer thickness of 2 mm.
