A clear solution for waterproof bonding without polyurethane

Griffon introduces a new, extremely strong variant of its wood construction adhesive based on SMP-Polymer technology: Wood Max Transparent Power. This next generation wood construction adhesive is PU and solvent free and is a unique combination of transparency, strength, flexibility and ease of use.

Wood Max Transparent Power is widely applicable (in terms of materials: wood in combination with wood and other building materials, but also in terms of interior and exterior use), non-foaming, filling, paintable and can be scraped immediately. Clamping is not necessary.

Wood Max Transparent Power reaches its final strength after 24 hours (110kg per cm²), a bond is hand tight (10 kg/cm2) after 3 hours. Wood Max Transparent Power is not only very strong, the adhesive keeps its flexibility when cured. Thanks to its high flexibility in combination with its strength, Wood Max Transparent Power can withstand the pressures on joints as it absorbs movement for long periods of time, without affecting the joint.

Wood Max Transparent Power has a good filling capacity (up to 2 mm), can be scraped immediately and assures 100% water resistant bonding according to the D4 standard.

Wood Max range – a revolution in wood construction adhesives
Wood Max Transparent Power is the transparent and flexible extension of the already well-known Wood Max Power and Wood Max Express Power. The Wood Max range offers environmentally and user-friendly wood construction adhesives with an very high final bond strength of up to 110 kg per cm². With the arrival of the Wood Max range, stubborn black stains on the hands also belong to the past. Wood Max adhesives are both solvent and polyurethane (PU) free.

Widely applicable
Wood Max is suitable for water resistant (D4) (flat) bonding of almost all types of (un)planed wood. Wood Max adhesives are also suitable for the bonding of many other building materials such as plaster, (natural) stone, (cellular) concrete, metal, hard foam and various plastics. Due to its thixotropic consistency, the adhesive can be applied both horizontally and vertically. Wood Max is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, sandable and paintable.
